news Andy, weather stayed fine all day most important bit, hottrax had kept all the pit garages for the training day so it was a fight for power points as we didnt take a genny, found mimifun and said hello (EMMA)but her mate had crashed at edwinas first trackday first seesion a few laps in and had broken his forearm quite badly by the sound of it,had been given morphine and was of to the hospital.I was going quite well and keeping up in the fast group apart from the racers there lapping me,wasnt good round gerrards this time but was fast from edwinas and the rest of the lap,I gave the last session a miss as i had had a couple of moments, forced onto the rumble strip at gerrards close to 120mph(arse twitcher)and as i start my new job in 2 weeks and will take me to retirement with a few cushy years wasnt gonna risk it,I had had a cracking day and was getting tired so got changed into clean pants had a beer and went home. Its a really physical track if you get a good full length session,25 minutes a couple of them with no time to rest,i was knackered and at points was looking for the flag to be waved. My son Tom came with me and he enjoyed it and took a few pics plus hes great company and i loved spending a dad son day with him.
