 |
|
| Most people use Ractecs on the track as do I, but I recently tried a Michelin slick and did find it to really good. Has anyone tried the Michelin Power Race tyres, Im thinking of these as an alternative to the Ractecs |

| I love the pilot power race tyres, i've only really got pirelli's to compare them to on track (I have used others but not dedicated track tyres) but I found that the Michelin's gave me more front end confidence. I've got a set of super corsa sc2's on at the mo and will be changing them soon for another set of Power race tyres. I guess its just each to there own. |

| Race with what you know I reckon, try the Michelins when you got a couple of practice trackdays lined up. |

| The only thing I will add about the michelin is that the rear was medium compound and wore out completely (it was soooo thin) on the outside of the tyre in only 10 track day sessions, about a day and a half. It was weird cos the centre was almost like new. its still my favourite tyre of all time. I have always liked michelin though so maybe its just psychological? (did i spell that right?) |

| I was also using a medium/soft front with the medium rear. The front was still ok to use so probably could have used a soft front instead of the medium/soft. |
