well ive finally got round to makeing a new undertray to mount all the electrics as i hated the ugly plastic one and wanted and ally one.
Well i didnt realise it was going to be so hard, i could have gone the easy way and made it in about 5 peices like everyone else does but i didnt want that as it looks messy so i tryed to do it in 1 bit but had to settle for 2.
what a pig it was not only to design it but also to fit it, 8 attemps later and i was happy with it, its not pretty, but its tidy and does what i want it to do, mount the electrics and keep the crap off, which is more than the old plastic one did.
so here it is in all its metal glory lol

John you seem to be in deficit to the tune of one engine mate
Apart from that it is looking superb, when do you reckon on firing it up? |

Rite well ive finally got my engine back and it fired up first time altho a problem with the carbs meant they kept pissing fuel out of number 4 carb and hence it ran like a bag of nails, so mark came and picked up the carbs and is stripping them down again to see were the problem is.
He also took my forks and is shortening them by 2 inch's to get the front low and also to help with my "vertically challenged" status
i also made my own lowering links which came out better than i expected using sperical ball joints and 10mm threaded bar and im also gettin some 8mm threaded bar tomorrow so i can make an adjustable torque arm for the rear caliper too.
so bike should be ready by friday and ill i can say is with that Vance and Hines sidewinder pipe on its effing loud and spits some quality flames too
and my home made linkages

| Nice work. I bet you are already thinking about stripping it down and starting again, if not I'll give you a week. |
