im ok for bars , but need a tow bar for it . bin told the 2wd and 4wd are diferent ?
mine got the back seats that fold up to side . was wondering if i could turn middle row of seats 90 degrees and slide the bike down side . mmm have to have a go next weekend as just bought a vfr from dorset

Yeah they are. I got a 4x4. Easy to fit only a small amount of drilling needed, we took our 8ft trailer loaded with camping gear up to Northumberland in July and the van pulled like it wasnt even there. Let us know if you squeeze the bike in with the seats swivelled, would be handy to know that Exclamation

just thought i,d add that i have use of a tyre machine (use to work at kwik fit) so punctures shouldnt spoil your day . thanks

bin and picked bike up . cant fit in with seat swivelled. your right about the back seat brackets , ratchet strap connected and never moved ! wat a good design . you can with a nissan !

Nice one! Hope you remembered to duck when you took the bike up the ramp (unlike me, ouch!)

Would have helped out but my van is being replaced in December, with a spanky new Ford S-Max, which I know won't take a bike. Sad

I can always come along just to point and laugh though if needed. Wink Laughing

I've got extremely safe workshop space, 3 german Shepherds Twisted Evil tool kit, and some ability.

I dont know feck all about fixing bikes and have pretty crappy tool selection but if you are stuck in North Wilts / South Glos, by all means give me a shout.

I live in Bromley so anyone coming down to brands or anything like that if you have any probs i have a garage tools (NO IDEA HOW TO USE THEM BUT I KNOW SOMEONE WHO DOES) even a sofa if youre really stuck just pm me when you are coming down this way will give you my number Laughing

im in north london have a large garage for storage or the front room but dont tell the wife a van and bed for the night i go up and down the m1 to yorkshire at least once a month aswell

always a good idea to have a friendly face when it all goes tits up lol, dont have van, but mate owns bike shop and van and sure would help if push came to shove, but do have a spare room for the night, its also a good idea for those of us that like driving around uk makes it cheaper if free bored and lodge available lol. cardiff area

Just to update my details - am now in salisbury, wilts if anyone needs food, sofa, ebay items collecting and such stuff!! Can stand and make approving noises whilst you repair your bike / car and can make tea...
