| I've only been on two wheels for a year so no massive leans yet but use the techinique for quick changes in direction. I don't get sore after a ride though, maybe your tensing your shoulders? Just a thought. |

| I know its done unconsciously but I have done it consciously to believe it myself and even putting a little pressure on makes you turn...tis a must |

i have been using it for a while now mate, but I think it was already a reflex thing as I used to use it in my motocross days for off camber and flat corners....it is a good technique.
I have read that book also and at the moment I am trying to teach myself the knee to knee technique, which unless you are on a perfectly windey rd is tough. So may have to wait for a track day to get fully involved with that one. |

I was actually taught to counter-steer on my Direct Access, but my wife wasn't. She finds it difficult to grasp the concept, but does it on the road without even thinking about it.
SUBconsciously, if you like.... |
