guys and gals
im looking to buy a GSXR 600 (in yellow ) and would like to know if there is anything i need to look out for. Are there any typical problems that the GSXR's have? Are later models better than old or vice versa ?
Any info you have is welcomed

Any bike can have an idiot own it. What things do i need to look out for when buying this model of bike guys??
I understand that people have opinions that some idiots may abuse one style of bike more than others perhaps due to cost of purchase or insurance etc.... is the GSXR one of those bikes?? If so i need to ask for FSH, low miles, HPI and signs of tampering then? |

| if you can the bike needs to be test ridden .. make sure no smoke on start up and that the gear box still changes gear smoothly |

Cool thank you, no smake at all or do i look for blue smoke? smooth gear changes is something i wont know about ( as i dont know what it should be like) i take it no clunking, knocking or crunching...
What is the top 5 things to go on these bikes if they have been abused guys? |

very little .. my K3 has been very abused and still runs fine .. ok on second engine but it the old unit failed due to some numpty at suzuki failing to put a screw in correctly
yep blue smoke is not good ... also if the mileage is over 10K check the disc are not running out .. this can be checked on the side stand if there are two of you .. pul bike to side and spin the wheel and see if the wheel rotates freely .. if it stops quick try again and see if it stops in the same place if so thats £300 worth of repair |
