Sorry to hear our fantastic summer weather played havoc with your day |
Totally, was really hoping to make another trip up there like last time but with my youngest daughter who's up at the mo, but a two hour ride in this unsettled weather didn't really appeal. |

I agree with Scotty, I am in no rush to sort mine. That will probably be it for me until the european trip early next year.
Best wishes to Matt for a speedy and full recovery. |

Just spoke to a mate who went yesterday and he described it as the worst trackday for crashes etc he has ever been on.
His opinion was that due to the BSB circus being there this weeked there were a few superstock guys (Howie Mainwaring to name one) and also henderson R1 cup boys out in the fast group and coupled with the pants conditions it made for a bit of a crash fest.
He tells me he was told there were three broken collar bones during the day.
Was Matt the gixer that highsided coming out of the pitlane??
Scotty if the feelings not there best to just sit back take a rest and the trackday bug will soon return. |

yep that was matt ... dont know if he hit something as he was in second gear so not many revs on a 1000 at that point
4 broken collar bones in all ... 9 bikes dumped on the first of hall bends
i think there were some 15 bikes bind in total .. i took one home as it was not too far of a detour and plus he paid me for it ( one of the ones with a broken collar bones)
so thats what the R1's were from had a few scary moments with them one of which was going in to charlies one .. cranked right over too find one at the side of me .. had lift and re drop .. lucky i stayed on but he did wave to say sorry and did look back to make sure i had stayed on track |
