I’m sure this has been a topic a few time's an people still don’t agree, but don’t listen to them cos there wrong an I'm right

To have a day time mot you must have

A horn, reflector on the number plate, an if its under 3 years old you don’t need to get it mot'd, all lights must be removed including the brake light, which to me seems stupid Confused

Anyone says any different an there lie's, LIES I TELL YOU !

Stupid anything other than that and it has to have a full MOT ... also not 100% on this but i think you have to remove the switch gear for the lights as well

completly agree, exept for the reflector. not needed. a reflector can only be seen when it's dark and the bike ain't allowed out then. my mate had daytime only on his r1 a couple of months ago so i know this. swith gear can stay too. so dirk, you are correct Thum_1 exept on the bit that you are wrong Violent1

No reflector. And switch gear can stay as long as lights are either.....permanently removed, or all wiring to them has been removed and they have been permanently masked. No tail light at all. Just a horn, tax disc and plate.

Carry your doc's......not all plod are clued up Rolling Eyes

what I shall do tomorrow.....or Thursday as time is tight tomorrow......is go and get a copy of the MOT testers handbook regarding the above, copy and scan it and post it here.
