I dont believe for one second that Haslam 'knew' he was going to knock Tom Sykes off, thats just crazy talk dood. He just misjudged the corner, racing is a fine line between being a hero and being a villian, this week Haslam is the villian but I'll bet 10 Hullpounds that we see at least a handful of suck passes throughout the season and fcuk all gets done about them.

When I mentioned the 'whining' regarding JT's passes, I meant from the public, not from the racers themselves. Vermuelen just whined because he got beat, I don't rate him tbh, I'd put money on JT kicking his ass for the rest of the season ;)

Haslam didn't come off, and as I recall he didn't come off at Thruxton either.
Remember the decision to remove him from the finishers list was started by the Chief Marshall who witnessed the incident. I am sure these guys are very experienced and able to make the decision as to a racing incident and a dangerous move. All we saw was a limited view of the incident.
It was appealed and more scrutiny of video footage took place and the ban was upheld. These decisions are not taken lightly, the implications are massive as has been pointed out.
So, whatever we think, the decision has been made. Personally I think it was the right one.
Haslam got involved at Thruxton which saw him punt Karl Harris wide, then the was involved in an incident which could easily have broken KH's neck and caused Sykesy to crash. This week he caused another rider to crash. So, just let it run and next week he might just go and kill someone, something had to be done, racing incidents or not.

I think it was a fair decision as both times he had sykes off he got a result in both races as he always manages to come up smelling of roses no matter what he does.I have never rated leon as a rider he just lives on his old mans reputation and thinks everyone should get out of his way.If i remember he even ran lavilla off onto the grass a couple of years back and he was his bloody team mate !!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm all for a bit of fairing bashing (re-JT), it is great close racing. Standing it up mid corner because you messed up AGAIN, is not good good racing, it was a desparate OT attempt, and not even in the closing stages of the race. Also as has been said in this thread already, he's done it before (many times) and rarely, if ever, is he sucessful at these mad moves.
