they have a V4 and if they can sell enough they will destroy the field even more
I think that at the moment it seems to be the way the twin preserves its tyres it certainly aint the fastest in a straight line.
There is also a weight penalty rule if it gets too far in front.
Having said that it seems to be a Bayliss rather than 1098 situation much like its Stoner rather than the Desmosedici after all even Melandri cant get it to go fast[/code] |

"There is also a weight penalty rule if it gets too far in front."
very true but they have been very crafty by not winning every race so this rule will be no good by the time they use it , when they do some of the higher speed tracks like monza you will see just how quick the duke is |

| Bayliss can ride a bike for sure but still is a lot down to fact can ride as hard as he wants and tyres will last. And personally i think stoners success is down to the bike last year he is a good rider but now the other bikes have caught up technically and pedrosa and lorenzo are flying he is struggling a bit.Ducati will probably want a 1200 in that next if they cant win they just change the rules !!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

don't get me started on stoner!!!
spoilt arrogant little turd, you just know he's got no respect for anyone else in the paddock and when things aren't going his way he throws his teddy big time and blames everything but himself. He expects the bike and track to adapt to him rather than himself to adapt to the conditions.
so he's perfectly suited to ducati as thats exactly how they behave.
i hate dukes, not because of the bikes but because of the whole image that goes with them and the politics they bring into racing. |

Gotta ask the question is Stoner is so Sh1t how come none of the other duke riders can get anywhere near the front on it? |

fair point.
Personally I think he is the only one who has got his head round the 'twist n go' stlye of the duke, I think some of the other riders have difficulties trusting the traction control as much as he does.
On the downside he is an Aussie and Doohan was not the nicest fella in the world when things were goin against him. Though there is an argument that in them days it was all rider skill (which I certainly agree with). When was the last time you saw an old fashioned highside in MotoGP |
