Piece of cake, 45 minute job if your half competent with spanners (once you've taken all the relevant plastic out of the way).

Straight swap like the boys have said, everything else fits, even your mudguard will. And it makes a helluva difference to the way the front end feels Very Happy

ratchet straps off your garage ceiling, jack under engine, or bit of wood under all 4 downpipes & jack.

ok i have now acquired these , is it worth rebuilding them as i am a 15st fella ( big bones ) im guessing i will need oil , springs and fork seals any suggestions please . i do not have a stack of cash for this as i want to spend my money else where on the bike but please bear in mind i was blowing forks seals twice a year on the standard 600 forks ( cannot land wheelies softly for the life of me )

well, your still going to pop seals unless your landing technique improves, so might as well wait until then for a rebuild, may be worth softening up the compression, to allow more movement, less likely to blow seals.

all the GSX R fronts will fit as long as you get a complete front end , the spindles differ as well as the discs
