Sorry mate was going to write it up last night but got drunk instead you might have noticed when you were talking to me An theres no chance of Tom writing anything last night as he was err.....busy
I dont know how many times Ive done Mallory 30-40 times could be more, only just figured out that Im taking the wrong line around gerards (you can teach an old dog new tricks) and in places being lazy and resting up, glad Tom turned up cos its him whos pointed alot of this out and also from what I have learnt in Spain. There was only 12 in the fast group so it ment a lot of clear track and was able to put in some good times, recon 59s possible 58s just makes me want to race there even more now
The reason I got the quickshifter was for this circuit and it really helps, Tom you still didnt try the bike mate you should have. One other thing that has made a big improvement and thats the stomp grip bath mats on the tank, giving me more confidence around gerards and on the exit, Leon if you havent tried them you should, in my case for this track you could say they have made me faster |

had a good day, clear track all day and no rain!!!
about bloody time.
As dan said only 12 of us in the group so not the usual hacking through heavy traffic on mallory trackdays, as a result managed to get loads of decent track time in.
I tried a 190 rear tyre for the first time in years, its definately found me more grip but has given me some handleing problems to deal with, more experimenting with suspension settings no doubt.
Dan you have definately upped your pace, that R6 is a bit of a weapon now hopefully see you at the next EMRA meet |
