| Fast group, I am sure it was close but it's not all about speed in the fast group. You are also saying that you are an experienced track rider, you also accept that there is likely to be ACU guys there so you got to expect it really. |

| Im not saying i wouldnt of been a little un nerved also but fast groups do have racers in them quite often, ive upset people by passing them with moves nothing like that, and left me thinking hang on we are in the fast group on the track???? I wont do inters because some of the moves and lines carried out are frightening it seems you cant win,you have every right to be a little miffed at the move but it half expected now and again,i had my hat well and truly nailed on by an rs250 racer when i had a blade at cadwell it was a bit of a shock how it handled in the tighter stuff |

I think the fast group is actually safer and racers are generally much better at making clean passes.
Regardless of the group though if you carnt make a safe clean pass why make it? If its a race then sure you will get passed anyway you can but trackdays are not race's. How did that benefit him, I dont remember him getting a BSB contract at the end of it?
Whats more - you dont apologise if you dont think you've done anything wrong. |

I think it kind of boils down to the fact that we all have differing views on what is risky and what is not. It looks like it could have been a close pass but I didn't think it was anything but a clean pass. He may have made you jump as he went by but you said you were thinking about something else.I didn't see any indication of you having to swerve or brake hard to miss him, likewise he held a constant line so it doesn't look like he run wide trying to miss you.
Just my opinion, don't mean it's right!!! |
