Sorry I missed meeting most of you st Silverstone but I got busy sorting the power comander and suspension.

Is anyone going to the Castle Combe day on 21st April run by Motorcycle Folly.

Anyone know what Castle Combe and Motorcycle Folly are like?

Its a track day and I gather some GSXR's fail the noise test with standard exhausts.

I've booked and won't get my money back so I'll see how it goes. I'll let you know what happens. Going to take loads of Brillo pads to stuff up the cans!!!!!!!

You guys were right!

A K7 1000 with standard exhausts and it failed the noise test @ 107.9db.

Tried everything but could not get on track

The usual words that it meets emission noise regulations - EU - and is measured at 80db.

But I think that measurement is at 4000/4500 rpm whilst Castle Combe is at 10,000/10,500rpm.
